Here are some of our most common questions we get asked by clients. If you can’t see the answer you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

  • What is permanent makeup?
    Permanent makeup is a form of tattooing, it is used to enhance your features and can last up to 24 months. Pigment is implanted into the dermal layer of the skin using a specially designed permanent makeup machine.
  • Who can benefit from permanent makeup?
    Everyone! There are many benefits from having permanent makeup. Those who have over plucked in the 80’s, people who are too busy to apply makeup in the mornings and for those who are unhappy with their eyebrows or lips in general and want extra definition and shape.
  • How long will permanent makeup last?
    Everyone is different depending on their health and life style however generally it can last between 2 to 3 years, with annual colour boosts to keep them looking fresh.
  • Is permanent makeup painful?
    Each person feels pain differently, some people will take a nap and others require more numbing cream. Both are completely normal and extra numbing cream can be applied if needed.
  • What will happen to my eyebrows after permanent makeup?
    Nothing, your eyebrows will grow as usual and the colour of your eyebrows won’t change. You can have an eyebrow wax appointment to keep them tidy.
  • How can I take care of my permanent makeup long term?
    A very detailed aftercare pack will be given to you after the treatment. This will explain what to expect during the healing process, advice on how to take care of them whilst they are healing and long term care too. It is very important to follow this advice to ensure the best results from your treatment.
  • Can I have lip blush if I have lip filler?
    Yes. Just make sure you leave 4 weeks before your lip blush appointment to make sure they are fully healed.
  • Can you over line my lips to make them appear bigger?
    We can only tattoo on lip skin. However having lip blush enhances your natural colour giving you extra definition which in turn will make your lips look fuller.
  • Does micro needling hurt?
    No! This treatment is pain free. It feels like a light scratch and is actually quite relaxing, the needle cartridge used in clinic are 0.2mm thick. We use these for maximum comfort, meaning we can go deeper (if required) with no added pain.
  • Will my skin shed after a chemical peel?
    No, your skin can feel slightly dry after a couple of days but this is completely normal.
  • How many facial treatments will I need to see results?
    A course of 4-6 are generally recommended for best results. The more facials you have the more results you see!
  • Will I bruise after skin boosters?
    No, in clinic we use the nano soft mesotherapy technique. The syringe has 3 tiny, guarded needles which penetrate the skin at 0.6mm deep, the perfect depth to achieve amazing, painless results.
  • How do I know which facial I need?
    Especially for new clients starting their skin journey, choosing a facial can be difficult when there are so many treatments to pick from. When booking on the app, over the phone or direct message select/ask for the ‘facial decided by Hannah’. This includes a consultation, skin analysis and treatment in the same sitting. Hannah will explain which treatment is best suited for you, prices will vary.
  • Can I book an appointment without using the online booking system?
    Yes! You can either phone the salon or direct message Hannah.
  • What are your policies?
    - We require 48 hours minimum to cancel or reschedule any appointment - Each appointment must be confirmed through the text message from Fresha (online booking app). Failure to confirm will result in cancellation of the appointment. - Alternatively you can pay a deposit which can only be refunded if you choose to cancel/reschedule at least 48 hours prior to the appointment. - All initial Semi Permanent Makeup appointments include a free 6-8 week top up, failure to book and receive top up during this time scale will result in a £50 fee. - A consultation is required before any Semi Permanent Makeup appointment. - Before booking an appointment you must read and understand the pre care and aftercare advice. Following this advice will result in the best results from your treatment, failure to do so could compromise the healed results. See drop down menu below each treatment for advice.
